Welcome to the Telemark Inn, Wilderness Lodge -

Remote and yet comfortable, located just 10 miles from the village of Bethel, Maine, The Telemark Inn was built at the turn of the century, as a hand-crafted Adirondack-style wilderness lodge, at the base of Caribou Mountain , surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest. For the past 18 years the Telemark Inn has been offering truly singular outdoor vacation experiences for nature and animal enthusiasts alike.

The Inn has been featured on CBS This Morning Show, Boston Chronicles, Maine Public TV, and in publications such as Outside Magazine, Washington Post and Los Angeles Times .

The historic lodge’s interior has been preserved with its original rooms fully paneled in Norway Pine. Each of the five guest rooms is different, and features unique hand-built cabinetry. The living rooms focal point is a huge mineral stone fireplace, glinting with mica and granite. The dining room features the original antique seven foot, round cherry wood table. Here you will enjoy healthy, home-cooked meals that are a balance of fine cuisine and natural bounty. Vegetarians and Low Fat Healthy diners are welcome here. The Telemark Inn maintains its own organic vegetable, fruit, and herb gardens, and the harvest finds its way directly to our table. Relax within the serenity of the lodge and it’s location or partake in it’s many fun and educational outdoor activities. Kick back and lounge on our spacious front porch overlooking the gardens while viewing the multitudes of our amazing hummingbirds, and other song birds at their feeding stations.
